The Price Tag
Fake Armani goods are in high supply. By using the tags, it is fairly easy to weed out the fake ones from the real. Armani tags are high quality, a standard that cannot be replicated cheaply by counterfeiters. For example, genuine Armani items have a tag with a plastic cuboid on the same string, displaying the words ‘EMPORIO ARMANI’. This will probably not feature on a fake Armani garment, especially a fake T-Shirt. The cuboid should be a colour that compliments the item – a dark coloured tag for a dark coloured item.
Certificate of Authenticity
Most genuine Emporio Armani garments will also come with a Certificate of Authenticity tag, or spare buttons. These are unlikely to be found on fake Emporio Armani clothing. The Certificate of Authenticity is created from very high quality card, and the lettering is embossed, not printed.
The Label
Look at the label inside the neck or waist. The material will be good quality, and all the characters in “EMPORIO ARMANI” will be fully legible. The lettering is not printed, but stitched into the label.
Material Quality
Armani items carry a premium price because they are manufactured using only the highest quality materials. If your garment feels rough to the touch, has scruffy edges, or poor stitching, it is probably a counterfeit item. Armani would never allow any piece out of its factory if it did not meet the strict Quality Control requirements. Stitching on genuine Armani clothing will always be tight, neat, and will not come loose after one or two days wear.
